Uploading Documents to StudyPDF

StudyPDF allows you to upload various document types for AI-powered analysis and organization. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Access the Upload Feature

From your dashboard, you have two options to start the upload process:

  • Click on "Upload New File" in the main dashboard area
  • Use the upload button in the course section
  • Step 2: Select Your File

    When redirected to the upload interface:

    1. Navigate to the location of your file (Downloads folder, Documents, etc.)

    2. Select the document you want to upload

    3. Confirm your selection

    Step 3: Choose Generation Options

    Select which AI features you want applied to your document:

  • For maximum flexibility, select "All" to enable all available tools and analyses
  • You can also customize by selecting only specific options you need
  • Step 4: Select AI Model

    Choose between available AI processing options:

  • Base model: Available to all users, provides quality analysis for most documents
  • Super intelligence model: Available with Pro plan, offers enhanced analysis and features
  • Step 5: Name Your Document

    You can either:

  • Keep the original filename
  • Create a custom name for the document in StudyPDF
  • Step 6: Initiate Upload

    Click the "Upload" button to begin processing your document.

    Step 7: Wait for Processing

    The system will now process your file:

  • You can continue using StudyPDF for other tasks while waiting
  • A progress indicator shows the upload status
  • You'll receive a notification when processing is complete

  • Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, PPTX, and other common document types
  • Clearer documents yield better AI analysis results
  • Organize related documents into courses for better organization
  • Use descriptive names for easier document identification later
